The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a female inmate who walked out of a courtroom visitation room Friday afternoon.Twenty-eight year old Tiffany Parker was in Criminal Court II and was taken to a visitation room adjacent to the courtroom to meet with her attorney.The attorney left her alone and she walked out of the building.
Parker was wearing blue scrub-like pants and a white tee shirt.She was a kitchen worker in the jail and removed her top that identified as such before escaping. She is described as a white female, 5’5” tall, 125 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.
She was being held in the Knox County Jail on a charge of failure to appear on prior charges.

Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff's Office are requesting assistance in identifying a suspect who robbed a North Knox County pharmacy on April 14th. The white male entered the CVS Pharmacy at 417 East Emory Road in Powell around 10:36. He demanded prescription narcotic medication and led the clerk to believe that he was concealing a gun.

Members of a Cuban burglary ring that’s hit businesses up and down the eastern seaboard including two businesses in Knoxville are behind bars.A Knox County grand jury on March 23, 2010 indicted four Cuban men from Miami for the 2008 burglary of Enix Jewelers.The men were arrested by local and state authorities in their Miami homes last week and are in the Knox County Jail right now.They will be arraigned on Friday. This was a joint investigation by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and other jurisdictions.
The suspects are identified as Juan Leyva, Yaubri Suarez, Tony Adrian Sanchez, and Yosmel Peraza.
Five suspects connected to this same ring were caught in the act by KCSO on December 13, 2009 as they tried to burglarize the Knox Jewelry and Loan on Western Avenue on December 12, 2009.They were charged with burglary, felony theft and felony vandalism.
The investigation revealed that the suspects in the two Knoxville burglaries may also be involved in at least 20 other burglaries.These are under investigation and additional charges are pending.Some of the suspects from both Knoxville burglaries have also been charged in Greensboro, North Carolina, Mercer County West Virginia, Kissimmee Florida, Ft. Myers Florida, and Osceola Florida.The burglary ring originated out of Miami.
During the Enix burglary, the suspects got in the business by cutting a hole in the roof, disabling the alarm system and then cut a hole in the safe.The total loss was reported at $625,000.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Knoxville man early Friday morning after he was indicted by the Knox County Grand Jury for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.Forty-two year old Nicky Bryant is being held at the Knox County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Bryant’s home on Blaine Lane in relation to a child pornography investigation on March 9, 2010.Investigators from the KCSO Computer Crime Unit said both child pornography videos and child pornography images were recovered from a computer belonging to Bryant.Bryant is a former Knoxville Police Officer and has been the target of an ongoing investigation by the Computer Crimes Unit since January.
