Spurgeon has been charged with carjacking, kidnapping, 3 charges of vandalism, burglary, theft, reckless driving, simple possession, 2 charges of evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless endangerment, and criminal impersonation.  He is also being held for Sevier County for violation of probation, vehicle burglary, possession of burglary tools, vandalism, and theft.  Knoxville Police believe Spurgeon may be responsible for a series of thefts from cars and stealing cars and are expected to take out warrants.
