KCSO Investigation Leads to Drugs and Money Print E-mail

A narcotics investigation by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office netted a large amount of money, marijuana, and weapons.  KCSO officers found the items in a West Knoxville storage unit on Monday, March 4th after a drug dog alerted on the storage unit and officers obtained a state warrant.  They went back to the storage unit and cut the lock off and found $193,915 in cash, 40 pounds of marijuana, 2 assault rifles, a money counter, and components to vacuum seal narcotics.

 

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office and the Clinton Police Department aided in the investigation.  No arrests have been made.
